This part-time position for an LPN or RN offers flexible scheduling, allowing nurses to balance work and life while providing essential patient care at the Dare County Jail. Employees can utilize an online scheduling exchange to pick up additional shifts as needed, ensuring a supportive teamwork environment. Opportunities include delivering care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare providers under established guidelines.

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN Days

Schedule: -Every other Fri - Sun 8a - 2p


***Could be every weekend for right candidate

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
