Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Investment Actuary.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a small team focused on investment analysis, ALM, and
hedging for Fixed Index Annuities (FIAs) and Multi-Year Guaranteed
Annuities (MYGAs)
Report directly to the CEO regarding investment strategies and
performance
Conduct extensive analysis to support investment decisions and risk
management
Required Qualifications
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), career Associate of the
Society of Actuaries (ASA), or near FSA
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Annuity investment at an
asset-intensive annuity carrier, consulting firm, asset manager, or
investment bank
Strong background in investment analysis and asset liability
management (ALM)
Experience with hedging strategies for annuities
