Production Control Expeditor coordinates and expedites the flow of
materials and work within a manufacturing facility to ensure timely
production and meet customer demands, monitoring schedules,
inventory, and facilitating communication between departments. Key
Responsibilities: Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and
materials between various departments, ensuring the timely
completion of production orders.Monitor production schedules and
adjust as necessary to meet changing demands and prioritize urgent
orders.Collaborate with production planners, supervisors, and other
stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.Track and
manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are
available when needed and minimizing production delays.Communicate
production status, delays, and issues to relevant stakeholders,
including management, sales teams, and customers.Identify
bottlenecks or potential delays in the production process and
propose solutions to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.Conduct
regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with
safety regulations and quality standards.Continuously evaluate and
improve production processes and procedures to maximize
productivity and minimize waste.Production Expeditor Required
SkillsStrong organizational and multitasking skills with the
ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced
environment.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure
the quality and integrity of production processes.Effective
communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration
and coordination between different departments.Proficient in using
computer software and systems for production planning, inventory
management, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems a
plus.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to
address issues and make timely decisions to meet production
deadlines.Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and
procedures, including production scheduling, inventory control, and
quality assurance.Ability to work independently and as part of a
team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing
priorities and demands.Knowledge of workplace safety regulations
and practices to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working
