The railway is a path to the future, choose this path and apply today.A Production Control Expeditor coordinates and expedites the flow of materials and work within a manufacturing facility to ensure timely production and meet customer demands, monitoring schedules, inventory, and facilitating communication between departments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between various departments, ensuring the timely completion of production orders.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands and prioritize urgent orders.
  • Collaborate with production planners, supervisors, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.
  • Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed and minimizing production delays.
  • Communicate production status, delays, and issues to relevant stakeholders, including management, sales teams, and customers.
  • Identify bottlenecks or potential delays in the production process and propose solutions to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve production processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize waste.Production Expeditor Required Skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the quality and integrity of production processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and coordination between different departments.
  • Proficient in using computer software and systems for production planning, inventory management, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make timely decisions to meet production deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, including production scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and practices to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
