We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Land Development (Site/Civil) Project Engineer to join our vibrant team! Based in the Hampton Roads area, you'll have the chance to be a key player in the growth of our Site/Civil group in Newport News, VA.This individual will design diverse projects including mixed-use, residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial development. The diversity of responsibilities requires a flexible mindset and cooperative team-oriented attitude with progressively increasing design and management capabilities.You'll spend your time:

• Developing innovative technical land development design solutions, project/task management, client contact, and quality control.
• Driving quality deliverables on-time and on-budget.
• Working collaboratively with a team of go-getters and industry leaders.
• Engaging in strong client relationships through frequent communications.
• Mentoring and educating early-career Site/Civil staff.About you:
• You hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering.
• You hold professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia.
• You have at least 5-10 years of land development design experience with Virginia clients/projects.
• You are a self-starter who is eager to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• You are well-versed in civil engineering design including stormwater, utilities, paving, roadway design, and grading.
• You are proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• You are familiar with state and municipal design and development processes.
• You interact effectively with municipal approval authorities.This role is eligible for an annual bonus, with a target of 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
