Logistics Group Leader (Supervisor) to lead delivery/distribution
operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Logistics
Group Leader is responsible for supporting the overall execution
and performance of the operation for a specific location, including
staffing, customer relations, performance, and direction of the
overall operation.This position requires a results-oriented,
high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth
delivery network.Requirements, Key Duties and Responsibilities:To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty to a competent level. The requirements

ability required. Negotiation and speaking with third party freight
providersSupport and organization of customs and tax related issues
related to LogisticsExperience utilizing an ERP system for receipt,
shipment and warehousing of productsExperience managing trailer
staging and storage areasSupport maintenance of all rolling stock
assigned to the Logistics departmentWarehouse management and
organizationReceiving & Shipping docks management and
organizationManage internal movement of material in support of
warehouse and production manufacturingSupport shipping audits and
compliance as required by ISO and Quality departmentUnderstanding
of DOT requirements for freight and shipmentsMaintain all KPI's
(Key Performance Indicator's) related to LogisticsDevelop a solid
understanding of the businessCultivate and sustain a safe
environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver
experience, and a positive cultureMonitoring, verifying,
communicating, responding to and acting upon the information
generated from all Logistic activitiesTimely response to all
requests for information or inquiries from internal and external
sourcesExcellent communication skills with all levels of management
and staff will be imperativeManage and develop 3rd party vendors,
providing objectives & challenging opportunities to advance the
companyAssist in the recruitment and development of staffEnsure
that practices, policies, and procedures are enforced and
consistently implementedSchedule and participate in negotiations
with Vendors, Contractors and Service Providers to secure best
value/service standards are metDrive initiatives that contribute to
long-term excellenceResponsible for compliance with Local, Federal
and State legislation pertaining to personnel, equipment, vehicle
and building mattersCoordinates, resolves, and responds to issues
as they pertain to the Operations PerformanceManage and minimize
inbound and outbound freight cost through focused cost management
of plant and regional backhaul, fuel mpg and cpg, asset
utilization, vehicle maintenance, accident and injury prevention,
route optimization and other major cost categoriesEnsure that
equipment and driver performance standards are meeting company
specifications and expectationsMeasure and report
daily/weekly/monthly KPI performance resultsPerform other duties as
assignedProfessional Skills, Qualifications, and
Competencies:Education and Experience:Bachelors in related field,
preferred.5+ years of Logistics Management ExperienceCommunication
Skills: Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
to all levels within the organization, with customers, & external
agenciesReasoning Ability:Excellent organizational and time
management skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesComputer
Skills:Strong computer skills; Microsoft Suite, specificallySAP
experience is a plusCertificates/Licenses:Lean Manufacturing a
plusStrong knowledge of FMCSA regulationsOther:Energetic and
