About ECU Health Chowan Hospital
ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access
hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in
6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services,
including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated
outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed
emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year
and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link
with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Position Summary
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist I is a member of the
diagnostic staff of Radiology Services. The technologist is
responsible for the operation of diagnostic and fluoroscopy imaging
equipment and for performing examinations. The diagnostic
technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while
providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the
technologist must be ARRT (R) registered with current
certification.
Minimum Requirements
High school or equivalent (or higher)
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification
Must have current ARRT (R) registry, or if new graduate obtain
registration within 18 months.

Weekends: Rotating

of choice will be hired as a Diagnostic Technologist I, II, III or
IV.
