FCN is currently recruiting Passionate and Committed RNs, LPNs and CNAs for Per-Diem/local contract opportunities with our Facility Partners in Hampton Roads & surrounding cities. Per Diem and Contract Opportunities in the following VA locations: Virginia Beach Norfolk Portsmouth Chesapeake Suffolk Courtland Windsor Newport News Hampton Williamsburg.

  REQUIREMENTS:
  
  • Covid Vaccine
  • 1 year Experience Minimum
  • BLS/CPR Certification
  • Updated PPD ( within 1 year)
  • Active RN License
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long hours without restrictions.
  • Must be able to bend and lift without restrictions.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, bend, lift, stand and walk without restrictions) and mentally but also very rewarding.
    Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
    
    • Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition
    • Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters
    • Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use
    • Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses' own schedule of drugs
    • Accurately reporting on patients' progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers
    • Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit
