A company is looking for a Coder I - Facility.
Key Responsibilities
Abstracts data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360
Identifies and codes diagnoses and procedures according to
ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines
Responsible for coding ED, Diagnostic, and Ancillary records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1 year of outpatient coding preferred
Completion of a coding course or 1 year of outpatient coding
experience required
CPC, COC, CPC-P, or CCS certification required
Other specialty certifications from AAPC or AHIMA will be
considered
