City/StatePortsmouth, VAOverviewWork ShiftRotating (United States of America)Sentara PACE is currently hiring a full time CNA to join our HOME HEALTH team in Churchland.Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.Sign on Bonus offered to qualified candidates!The CNA performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.Requirements:

• Licensed Nursing Assistant with VDH required
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• HS/GED or Graduate from a state approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School required
• For applicants having recently completed approved program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire. New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standingWith locations in Portsmouth and Norfolk, Sentara PACE recognizes that older people often have medical problems that last for long periods of time and require services from several different sources.
