Aircraft Fueling SpecialistAt Signature Flight Support
Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Fueling
Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations
team, you will be responsible for fueling and servicing aircraft in
a safe and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fueling and de-fueling operations in accordance with
company procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate accounting of fuel transactions and maintain
accurate records.
- Perform de-icing functions as required and maintain equipment
in clean and functional condition.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and ensure correct
loading and balancing of fuel.
- Use fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel
aircraft.Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three
(3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle),
drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security
badge, and be insurable by the company's insurance policies.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of
employment.
- Knowledge of fueling and de-fueling procedures for various
aircraft, deicing procedures, and fueling procedure for various
ground equipment preferred.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
- Must successfully complete Company's PST program.
- Commercial Driver License (HI locations).Working Conditions:
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel;
reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch,
or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide and ability to perform
mathematical functions with regard to weight, measurement, and
volume.
- Clearly communicate in English with others in person, via
telephone, radio communicators, and in writing for purposes of
performing certain job duties and safety.
- Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
- Report to work in a regular and timely basis.
