Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to
join our team!

SHIFT: Full-Time; M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm; Call Required, Some travel
to other sites is required.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in
the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care
settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex
monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for
interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered,
charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may
indicate urgent medical interaction.
Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed.

Job Summary
Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in

One year of experience is waived for new graduates of an accredited
EEG Program.
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart
Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Electroencephalographic
Technician (EEG) - Certifications - American Board of Registration
of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists
(ABRET)
