Job Description:

A company is looking for a Remote Physician Reviewer.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-service reviews and evaluate clinical service requests
Utilize clinical judgment to adjudicate requests and provide clinical leadership
Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to policy development

Qualifications

Board Certified (ABMS) M.D. or D.O. required
Unrestricted and active medical practice license required
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including inpatient experience
Experience in Utilization Review
Understanding of managed care principles
