Dental Care at Oyster Point is seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Newport News, VA. As a Dental Hygienist at our office, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients and contributing to the success of our practice.The ideal candidate will have a current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. They will also possess excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. • Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR certification
• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
