Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Internal Medicine/
Primary Care) - Elizabeth City, NCJob Type: Full TimeShift: Days
(M-T 8-5 F 8-12:30)Setting: OutpatientJob Overview:We are seeking a
dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician
Assistant (PA) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Internal
Medicine and Primary Care. The ideal candidate will join our team
to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive
environment. This role involves managing a diverse patient
population, conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and
treating illnesses, and collaborating with our healthcare team to
ensure the best outcomes for our patients.Roles and
Responsibilities:--- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments,
including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic
testing.--- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and
chronic conditions, following evidence-based guidelines.--- Provide
preventative care and health education to patients, promoting
wellness and disease prevention.--- Collaborate with physicians,
specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient
care.--- Prescribe medications and manage patient treatments
according to established protocols and state
regulations.Qualifications:--- Valid Nurse Practitioner or
Physician Assistant license in North Carolina.--- Minimum of 1 year
of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Primary Care.---
Certification from an accredited NP/PA program.--- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.--- Ability to work
