Job Description:

• Work Dates Needed: Once credentialed ongoing
• Preferred Schedule: 24 hour call coverage
• Worksite Setting: Hospital / Call: Must be available by phone within 5 minutes of being called by hospital. If needed on-site, must present on-site within 15 minutes of phone call.
• Scope of Work: Average 11 patients per day. Cover ER consults, floor consults, L&D, deliveries, emergent procedures, etc. As well as available via phone for our two office NP's who have any emergent questions about a patient they may need to send over to hospital. Responsible for the following: Laboring patients, Inductions, Triage Labor Patients, ER consults, Floor consults, Trauma call, Following up on established OBGYN patients in the inpatient setting (Note: no OB Hospitalist program for back up)
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Current VA medical license, DEA
• EMR: eCW for outpatient, Meditech for inpatient (if not familiar with Meditech, be available in advance of their first coverage date for 1 hour onsite orientation)
• Travel: provided
