Job Description:

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Medical Affairs).

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical support and consultative activities across the PBM
Perform medication utilization reviews and medical necessity appeals for various clients
Engage in special clinical investigations and research as directed by senior leadership

Required Qualifications

Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in direct patient care
At least 2 years of experience in clinical outcomes with knowledge of medical statistics and regulatory agencies
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the candidate's state
Graduate of an accredited Medical School and Residency Program
