Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead CPU Performance Projections
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Gather product specifications and set up CPU/SoC configurations in
performance simulators
Characterize benchmarks using silicon and performance simulations,
and build analytical performance prediction models
Correlate performance projections with silicon measurements and
present data at various forums
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or
related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's
degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years
2+ years of experience in system architecture technology areas and
products
Experience in CPU or SoC performance modeling, performance
projections, and workload characterization
Familiarity with industry standard CPU benchmarks such as SPEC CPU
and GeekBench
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Perl, or Python
