As a Senior Platform Engineer, ServiceNow, you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.The Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Technology division is responsible for enabling and evolving Capital One's foundational cloud infrastructure layer, including observability, connectivity, resilience and availability.General Responsibilities:

• Hands-on developing of ServiceNow CMDB and IT Asset Management modules and partner with enterprise tools/systems to integrate as needed
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Continuously improve software engineering practices
• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutions
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity.Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of ServiceNow Development ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Javascript, Java, Typescript, SQL, Python or GO
    • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
    • 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks
    • 4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management
    • 4+ years of experience in IT Operations Management
    • 4+ years of experience in Workflow Development

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer -Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer -McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer - - - - - - - -Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
