Paramount Builders is looking for a skilled Measure & Service Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The Measure & Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer homes and completing window measures for newly sold jobs, as well as completing small repair services when needed on past windows, roofing, siding and gutter jobs. This job is ideal for someone with a construction background, with experience installing windows and roofs.What We Offer:Full time hoursHourly pay of $23-$25/hourOvertime opportunitiesEligible for Health Benefits at 60 Days of Employment 401k with company matchingPaid Time OffHoliday PayCompany vehicle and gas cardWhat You'll Do:Take accurate precise measures of windows and doors for residential homesEnter accurate data into a software applicationComplete light services on previous installations that are needed on roofing, siding, windows, gutters, gutter protection and insulation on residential homesServices can include: replacing sashes, screens, completing interior work, caulking.Responsible for the proper and safe residential at-home installation/execution of products and services when services are needed on a previously installed jobUtilize necessary tools for making repairs and/or adjustments to all itemsInspect products and materials for defects, proper sizes, and potential malfunctions prior to installationProvide excellent customer service to the homeowners/customersKeep paperwork organized and track any notes that need to be taken during the serviceResponsible for managing the warehouse; inventory, organize, pull orders for installations and at times make deliveries of materials to jobsitesWhat We Require:2 years of professional experience installing windows, roofing, siding, gutters, gutter protection and insulationValid driver's license with clean driving recordBasic computer skills with an ability to use a software application to enter dataPositive attitude as well as excellent communication skillsGreat math skillsMust have excellent customer serviceAttention to detailMust be able to stand for prolonged periodsMust be able to move items weighing up to 70 poundsMust be able to climb a ladder and work roof heightsMust be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, vendors, and the publicHours/Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week/52 weeks per year.
